The Committee on Finance moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill 3135—H. B. 3135 -- A Bill to amend and reenact §6-7-2 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to compensation of designated constitutional officers, including for the Governor, Attorney General, Auditor, Secretary of State, Commissioner of Agriculture, and State Treasurer, beginning in the calendar year 2025, and for each calendar year after that; providing for a means to calculate salaries of constitutional officers based upon federal salary tables; and providing for a salary increase when modifications are made to salary tables.
